Keypad for micro labs

This hexadecimal keypad is used in the course primarily to load code into memory, for people doing the “big board” version of the micro labs.  It includes five function buttons, in addition to the hex keypad, for use in these labs–operations on address: increment, decrement, and repeat; operations on data: write, and write-and-increment.

One can present its output to the computer in either of two principal ways: by plugging its DIN connector into the “big board;” or by connecting through a 16-line ribbon cable terminating in a DIP connector.  In addition, its byte data output is available on a header. This last mode may be most useful in the SiLabs version of the micro labs.
